Les Feux Follets by Confederation Centre Young Company

I wrote a tiny bit about this show at the beginning of the month here. My oldest daughter and I happen to walk by the show on our way to the library, only catching the last couple songs. We knew we had to come again and watch the whole thing!

Les Feux Follets was part of the Charlottetown Festival and played all summer long, Monday to Friday, at noon. It was a free outdoor show put on by the Confederation Centre Young Company. The show was about Canada and Canadians, through history, with songs and dances.

The Young Company is a professional training programme for young adults. They practice, perform, and have classes every day throughout the summer. They were excellent performers!

Here are some of my favourite photos from the last performance, which was August 18.

Many of the songs and dances were high energy and amazing.

We brought a picnic lunch to the show, and lots of water. It was hot!
All the costumers were beautiful.

It would be difficult to choose a favourite number, but if I had to, this one would be a top pick!

Finale! What a show!

Every thing about this show was excellent. The music, costumes, choreography, and each Young Company member's performance, everything was perfect! We loved it.
