My husband's grandmother passed away yesterday. She had raised my husband since the time he was 5 years old until he moved out. She was also a big part of our lives, even living with us for a while.
She will be missed by many. She was known as Babi, sometimes Baboushka or just Ba. She was from Polland and lived a full life.
I did still want to take my weekly self portrait, I haven't missed one yet, but no smiling face this week.
