This evening was the Wintertide Opening Ceremony and Christmas Tree Lightning in Charlottetown. We met our friends in front of Province House and received glow sticks for our walk to the Confederation Centre.
We listened to a couple of songs from the Children's Choir. Father Christmas lit the Christmas tree after a few speeches from other officials. We couldn't hear a lot of the speeches but saw the tree lighting up. We then walked around town to warm up and see some of the holiday decorations. This was a fun way to start the holidays!
