Last week, I tried snowshoeing for the first time. I absolutely love it. I have now gone twice. A pair of snowshoes are going on my wish list for sure!
I like walking in the snow, but with all the snow we have been having, it isn't always fun! This way is much more enjoyable.
The boxes in the photo above are bee hives. There were a few more in the fall when we walked there last.
While snowshoeing, we saw an eagle flying very close. I quickly tried to take a photo. This photo below is the best I could do.
With ice skating outside, geocaching, and snowshoeing I have enjoyed this winter more than previous ones here in Canada. But I am still looking forward to spring!
