Weekly Homeschool Report + Friday Link ♥

We started the week with our regular routine and ended it with a fun cookie & hot chocolate afternoon with friends.

This was one of those week where the work gets completed but nothing too exciting or super interesting happens...

We continued our studies in math, spelling, and language arts. We enjoyed our regular weekly poetry tea time. We also read more about Canadian history in the Canadian Citizenship challenge study. In our regular history, we read several books about knights.

We have been enjoying our advent of holiday books. Celeste opens a new book every morning. She often asks me to read it aloud and then reads it again herself over the day.

Here are a few of our favourite links this week:

Google Santa Tracker to teach kids how to code  and the actual Google Santa Tracker

100 Engineering Project for Kids from the Homeschool Scientist

Fun Lego holiday ornaments with PDF building guides

A quick report this week! Celeste and I will be taking the rest of the month off from our regular studies.

Have a great weekend!

I am linking this post to the weekly wrap up hosted by Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers.
